I had an incredible time at this charming beachfront campsite. From the warm welcome by Esther, the owner, to the spacious and comfortable cabana, everything was perfect. The bed was so cozy, and I slept like a dream every night. Porfirio, who assisted us upon arrival, was also amazing. The location was ideal, right on the beach and close to everything. The outdoor kitchen was a nice touch, and the sense of community among the staff and guests was delightful. Highly recommend this unique and authentic gem!

Bugs, insects, and sand were a major issue, with sand ending up in the bed and luggage. The showers had saltwater, which was not ideal.

Chavez Eco Beach Camping And Cabanas offered comfortable tents with beds inside, and even during a storm, my tent stayed dry. the location was perfect, right in the middle of the zona hotelera of Tulum, with restaurants and bars within walking distance. the owner, Esther, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I wish I knew Spanish better so I could express my gratitude to them for creating such a peaceful oasis by the ocean. I will definitely be coming back!

One negative aspect is the loud and obnoxious music from nearby beach clubs at night, which can make it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
